Winter Hike at Sugarloaf Park
RMA staff and clients planned a snowshoe outing at Sugarloaf Park on December 28th 2020. The lack of fresh snow didn't allow for snowshoeing, but it didn't stop us from enjoying a nice afternoon of hiking with our guide Patrice Michaud.

Black History Month 2020
On February 15th The Restigouche Multicultural Association celebrated Black History Month at the Balmoral Community Centre. Over 130 people came together to enjoy the festivities that took place from 5:30PM until midnight.
Welcoming words were given by Honorine Ngoutchoup and Melindria Tavoularis. Thereafter, a mouth-watering three-course meal of African cuisine, prepared by Afrifood, was served to the backdrop of a presentation featuring the achievements of African peoples in Canadian society. As dessert was served, spectators enjoyed a vivacious African dance routine performed by students from CCNB Campbellton. Finally, the night came to a close with the pulsing rhythms of Quebec based band Balafola, whose African inspired music featured driving drumbeats and unique melodies that enticed many party-goers to end the night dancing.
